Message from Principal Purse

Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year!

It is with much excitement and enthusiasm that I begin my third year as Principal of Wesley School.  I look forward to working with the students, staff, and families to make this a great place to learn and grow.

Each day, students and teachers are engaged in academic, social, and emotional learning.  Teachers use technology to enhance their instruction and to prepare our students to be future ready.  We are eagerly anticipating having Chromebooks for students in grades 1st through 5th this school year.

All students are expected to do their best with the support of their teachers and other staff here at Wesley.  We always follow the three B's: Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible.  Good choices are acknowledged with Wildcat CA$H and students can turn those in for a chance to participate in weekly rewards with various staff members.

The best way you can support your child is to be knowledgeable about what is happening in their classrooms.   Stay in contact with your classroom teacher and me by reading the communication that comes through Sangha.  This new website and communication system will help us to help you stay connected.  Look for information about upcoming activities and events, spotlights on student accomplishments, and ways to be involved in your child’s learning at home.

Let’s work together to ensure all our kids are growing and learning.  Please don’t hesitate to contact me at any time with questions, suggestions, or comments.

Respectfully,

Katie Purse, Principal
